Where to Eat... |
|
Breakfast |
Breakfast at the Ayres Hotel Seal Beach is a little pricey but the portions were generous, and the dishes were very delicious. |
Lunch |
We had lunch at the Hak Heang Restaurant where we had the Cambodian shish kabob. It was very tasty and the price is mid-range; $16-25. |
Dinner |
We had dinner at Beachwood Barbecue where they serve delicious beef short ribs and briskets. Foods cost around $15-30. |
What to Do... |
|
Morning |
Since this is the West Coast, gal pals and I thought we’d go all “wild, wild west" and made the first stop on our itinerary - a tour of the Rancho los Alamitos. It was fun riding a horse-drawn carriage. The place was so picturesque, especially the gardens. |
Afternoon |
We visited Anaheim Street next where a host of Cambodian businesses are located. Long Beach is home to the largest Cambodian Population in the US, and we were excited to see all the authentic shops, services and restaurants in the place. |
Evening |
We spent the night shopping for gifts and souvenirs at Artscape. There, we found one-of-a-kind artworks created by local and regional artists such as, journals, gift items and jewelry. |
